Nomos — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Plutas Lab ("Plutas," "we," or "us") regarding your access to and use of Nomos, including all software, APIs, AI systems, documentation, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, deploying Nomos, or accessing any part of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are under the age applicable to contract consent in your jurisdiction, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

To use Nomos, you must create an account or receive access as an authorized user of a customer organization.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and updated account information
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

3. Customer Content

A. Ownership

All data, documents, Inputs, or materials you upload ("Customer Content") remain your property. Plutas does not claim ownership over Customer Content.

B. License to Operate Services

To operate Nomos, you grant Plutas (and infrastructure partners acting on our behalf) a limited, worldwide, revocable license to:

• Process
• Store
• Host
• Analyze
• Transmit
• Display

your Customer Content solely to deliver, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.

No other use is permitted.

C. AI Inputs and Outputs

You submit content ("Input") and the system generates content ("Output").

Subject to applicable law:

• You retain ownership of your Inputs
• You own your Outputs
• Plutas assigns any interest we may have in Outputs to you

D. Data Isolation & Model Training

Nomos is designed to operate in private infrastructure environments.

Your Customer Content is never used to train Plutas, Nomos, or any third-party AI models.

This remains true regardless of deployment model (cloud, VPC, on-premise).

E. No Guarantees on Output Accuracy

Nomos is an AI reasoning system. Outputs may:

• Contain inaccuracies
• Omit relevant information
• Misinterpret facts or law
• Require human review

You must independently verify all Outputs before relying on them for legal, professional, financial, or regulatory decisions.

F. Third-Party Generated Similar Outputs

Because AI systems may generate similar responses for different users, you acknowledge that:

• Outputs based on third-party inputs ("Third-Party Outputs") may resemble your Outputs
• You have no claim or ownership over such third-party Outputs

4. Permitted Use & Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Circumvent or probe system security
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract source code
• Access non-public components of Nomos or Plutas systems
• Use the Services for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity
• Violate confidentiality, privacy, or intellectual property laws
• Upload malicious files or disrupt system operations
• Use Outputs as if they are human-generated or legally verified
• Use Nomos to train or build competing AI models
• Use the Services for automated decision-making without required human oversight
• Share content that is violent, hateful, or illegal

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

5. Our Services

Subject to payment and compliance with these Terms, Plutas grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access Nomos solely for your internal business purposes.

The Services may include downloadable software or self-hosted components. Such software may update automatically.

6. Beta Services

From time to time, Plutas may release features labeled "Beta," "Preview," or similar.

Beta Services:

• May be incomplete or unstable
• Are provided for testing and feedback
• May be confidential until public release

You agree not to disclose information about Beta Services without our permission.

7. Third-Party Services

Nomos may integrate with third-party tools (e.g., cloud hosting, LLM providers, file storage APIs).

Plutas is not responsible for:

• Availability
• Functionality
• Terms
• Security practices

of third-party services.

Where LLM providers are used, we ensure your data is not used for model training and is deleted within the retention period required by agreements with such providers.

8. Intellectual Property

Plutas owns Nomos, including:

• Software
• Models
• Interfaces
• Documentation
• Logos
• Trademarks

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Services.

Feedback provided by you may be used by Plutas without obligation.

9. Modifications & Service Changes

Plutas may:

• Update or modify Nomos
• Add or remove features
• Suspend or discontinue parts of the Services

We will provide notice for changes that materially impact your rights.

10. Payment Terms

Paid Services will be billed according to your subscription plan.

Fees are due immediately and must be kept current.

Failure to pay may result in suspension.

Refunds are only issued where required by law.

Payments are processed through third-party processors such as Stripe, subject to their terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using Nomos at any time.

Plutas may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• Non-payment occurs
• Continued use poses risk
• Required by law

Upon termination:

• Your license ends
• Some sections (e.g., IP, indemnity, limitations of liability) survive termination

12. Warranty Disclaimer

Nomos is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

Plutas disclaims all warranties, including:

• Accuracy
• Reliability
• Security
• Merchantability
• Fitness for a specific purpose
• Non-infringement

Outputs may contain errors and should not be considered legal advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Plutas is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not responsible for loss of profits, data, or business interruption
• Our total liability will not exceed the fees paid in the prior 12 months

Nomos is not a substitute for professional legal judgment.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plutas, its team, and affiliates from claims arising from:

• Your misuse of the Services
• Your content
• Your violation of laws or these Terms

15. Dispute Resolution

A. Informal Resolution

You must first contact us with a detailed description of your claim:

We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 60 days.

B. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws.

16. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms as needed.

Continued use of Nomos after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Copyright Policy

Plutas respects intellectual property rights.

We may remove content or suspend accounts in response to valid copyright complaints.

18. Authorized Users

You are responsible for all actions taken by your employees, contractors, or agents who access Nomos under your account.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Plutas regarding Nomos and supersede all prior agreements.
